Thank you so much for this important question. Hundreds of millions of my readers have repeatedly sent this in over the last month. There is clearly an interest in this riveting topic.

Weeny dogs were developed by breeders in the 1400’s specifically to avoid being struck by lightning……….So many taller dogs were being lost to this natural electricalistic discharge, that folks got fed up with it….and developed a mutt that was so close to the ground that lightning cant tell its there.

Also it was later discovered that dachshunds are the last to know it is raining.
