Wendell (a.k.a. “Flathead”) Snifferly from Whatsit Michigan writes Dear Mr. Hugh……..I hear that fishing is a good thing for Blood pressure. Is this true? And…Where is the best place to catch a fish?

From Hughy.

Welllll…….Yes and Know…….It’s good for YOUR blood pressure….But extremely unproductive for the aquatic species under discussion here.

The average fishes blood pressure rises inextricably when jerked around by an invisible force that just stuck a sharp object through its head..

A US Government study of fish trauma has recently inculcated a striking link between fish hooks and fish mortality rates.

What a dyecotomy it is……………..The fisherman is relaxing while the fish is stressed. It’s enough to make your head swim.
